The individuals who participate in the Avenues Day Program are challenged with a variety of disabilities. It is our mission to see beyond these disabilities and support the individual to realizing their full potential as their ability allows.

Some services we offer include life skills (social skills, sewing, cooking, computer training, crafts, woodworking and many more), career preparedness and placement, work experiences, volunteerism, and recreation with the intent to help the individual along the path to independence, choice, and inclusion in their community.

Richmond Community Options (RCO)

Richmond Community Options is a day program for adults that focuses on community participation through recreational activities, developing friendships in the community and developing and/or enhancing a wide range of skills.

RCO provides their participants with opportunities to share their gifts and talents with the community of which they are an integral part.

Transitions

The Transitions program is a new and growing program designed to meet the needs of those individuals in the transition period from youth to adult.
