Youth Connections was
designed for young people with disabilities aged five to nineteen, but we
welcome and encourage the volunteer participation of friends and students
as part of our greater family.
Adventure, excitement, friendship, and fun - We don't really need to say more about our program than that. Youth Connections is living proof that some of life's greatest lessons are taught in a recreational setting. |
|
Operating from 2:00pm - 6:00pm throughout the school year and for full days during the summer, spring, and winter breaks, our program accesses many of the lower mainlands destinations. Whether its basketball at the neighborhood community centre, hiking the trails of the Reifel Bird Sanctuary, a day trip to Bowen Island, or hot chocolate at the local Starbucks, the children and teenagers attending Youth Connections both learn and teach lessons in communication, connection, and community. If you'd like laughter and play to be a part of your day, feel free to give us a call at 604-279-7045. Or contact our Youth Connections Supervisor, or download our Youth Connections Family Handbook.
