Families who are receiving In Home Support, Autism Funding, At Home Support and other forms of Direct Payment to employ their own staff will benefit from this workshop. There are many regulations, rules and laws that can affect family members as employers. Find out about expectations for you when you hire caregivers, and how to navigate the applicable rules and regulations.

Presenter: Linda Perry

Linda Perry is the Executive Director of Vela Microboard Association and has assisted with the
development of over 350 Microboards throughout BC. She has worked for and with people with physical and developmental challenges for over thirty years.
