Ben McGinnis started performing stand-up comedy in Vancouver in 2007 and won the Vancouver’s “funniest comic with a day job” competition the following year. The best piece of advice he’s received from a fellow comic is: ‘it just doesn’t work if you stare at the floor’. Armed with a caustic wit, Ben has been making furtive eye contact with audiences across North America ever since. Ben was named ‘Best of the Fest’ at the Vancouver Comedy Festival. He has appeared on XM Satellite Radio, Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival in Seattle. He has also starred in his own comedy special on City TV.
